The "Cosy Caravan"
My therapy space in Truro is a little unconventional, as it is an adapted, vintage 1980's caravan on my driveway! This is located at TR1 3TT, central Truro, Cornwall UK. I am a 10-minute walk from Truro railway station, or there is free parking just a few metres from my property. My road is permit-parking only, but if you contact me before your appointment, I will happily move my car, to allow for parking in front of the caravan! For parents who are accompanying your children/teenager, feel free to join in the session, or wait in your car. Equally there are many delightful local cafes within walking distance!
Due to the unconventional therapy space, I am able to adapt this towards the clients' individual needs and interests, with plenty of room for Play, Music or Art therapy techniques. There are also a choice of comfortable seating options, and even a couch. Please be aware that the space is not fully sound-proofed, but I try to keep outside distractions or sounds to a minimum, as much as is in my control!
